We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Director with a robust background in the telecom, cybersecurity, or IT domains. This pivotal role involves identifying lucrative sales opportunities and conducting thorough feasibility assessments to maximize revenue generation in designated Latin American markets.

Additionally, the Sales Director for Latin America will play a vital role in reinforcing SecurityGen's value proposition among existing customers in the region, further solidifying our position as the preferred security partner.

In this role, you will be entrusted with identifying lucrative sales prospects and conducting thorough feasibility assessments. Your primary objective will be to optimize revenue generation in accordance with our sales strategy and targets across designated countries in Latin America.


What you will be doing

  • Develop a Business Plan for area of responsibility that is consistent with short-range and long-range company objectives.
  • Tirelessly hunt for new sales opportunities in Latin America
  • Maintain pipeline and good relationship with existing customers.
  • Upsell new solutions to managed customers.
  • Promptly expedite the resolution of customer problems/issues.
  • Sales and revenue forecasting and ensuring quarterly achievement as per forecast.
  • Analyze sales records and trends in relation to objectives and competitive activities.
  • Take or recommend necessary corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Director at a B2B company, preferably in the telecom or cybersecurity domain.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the telecommunications
  • MNO related expertise and strong relationship with MNOs and Telcos are required, manly AMX, TELCEL, AXTEL, AT&T, LLA, MOVISTAR, DIGICEL and other major Tier 2 accounts
  • Experience managing and developing channel partners 
  • Specific experience closing high $ value, complex deals working with a wide range of customers
  • Ability to close standard deals autonomously
  • Outstanding interpersonal and networking skills 
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in telecom domain.
  • Must have existing business relationships within the telecommunications industry, including Engineering managers.
  • Experience in Packet Core or VAS Sales is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter and comfortable developing new business relationships.
  • Deeply data-driven with a growth mindset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent presentation and representation skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent in Engineering / Telecommunications/ MBA.
  • English and Spanish proficiency.
